Cable modem activity back to normal
At around 3:00 pm today the activity on my cable modem finally stopped. And Internet speed is back to normal, along with alerts from ZoneAlarm. I have Optimum Online cable service. Is everyone else back to normal? I though my led's were going to burn out! LOL! Does this mean that Code Red is finally out of my life? A friend told me that this is going to happen on every first of the month? Is this true?

Lucky you. I'm still getting hit about 40 times per hour. Of course my cable company says this is normal...LOL

I too, am still getting hits constantly. My internet speed does not seem to be suffering a whole lot though. I may just be one of the more fortunate ones in that respect.
It is still very annoying to have my LED flashing all the time now.
Looks like Code Red is still lurking around us in this part of the country.
Tech Talk to me !!!
Give it UP!!!

Your cable server has been cleaned. I'm still getting hit (WAN light)100 times a min. The Lynksys firewall is holding it at the router. ZA shows no sign of activity on the system .
