Internet Explorer 10 for windows 7

So then I click on installing updates and it says the updates are installed and shuts off. I restart the computer and it says please wait. It starts at 0%, goes to 3% and I get a quick message that starts off revert to.....and I can't read the rest because it says shutting down. So it starts over and says wait then 35% and goes to start screen. If I then go to windows update it says 2 important updates. I click on important updates to see what they are and I get this message. an error occurred while attempting to retrieve the list of applicable updates for your computer. To continue, please close and reopen the windows update control panel (error code; 80248007). When I did that the same updates came up. I tried fixit with no results. Then I tried .Net framework cleanup tool which you had suggested before with no results. Any help would be appreciated.

You could try one update at a time to see if you can find out which one is causing the rollback problem.

Try another Reboot and see if you can access the Windows Update window. What are the 2 important updates? Were they in the original batch you posted?
Also click on the link at the top of the Update page "View Installed Updates" . Does it show success or failure for the updates you tried to install on September 16?
The list of updates you show are a mix of those from August and September. The September batch also had some problem updates. But you are only showing one of those
    KB2845537
    Do not install it.

    Thanks for the replies!

    I ran them one at a time and got 3 failures;
    Internet Explorer 10
    kb2807986
    kb2853952

I did not run kb2859537 per instructions.

When I start up the computer now it says I have 4 uploads.

All installs from the 16th failed.

Some times you have to just install one at a time.

Normally that happens if it needs to do a reboot after the install.

Do you actually want IE10? It's not required. I didn't install IE10, since I rarely use it. Note that you'll have to install all the IE10 patches AFTER you install IE10.

Did you try downloading the patches and running them instead?

    I made IE10 a hidden file
    The first patch didn't work
The second patch says I need a newer version and I don't know where to find that

Is that system using Hyper-V? I don't see KB2853952 coming up on my win7 boxes. There appear to be issues with that patch.

KB2807986 is from March 2013. Are there any error messages when you try to install it?

I went to the link you provided and what I got out of it was that it was in the "important" category and that it applies to my system win 7 sp1 32 bit. Am I missing something? Do I need kb2807986?

Hyper V is for virtual machines. I really doubt you have that setup. You shouldn't need KB2853952.

    kb2807986 error 80070005
That's a critical update. I'm assuming you're logged in as an administrator. Did you scan your system for malware? If so, what apps did you use?

I went to "start-allprograms-accessories-then right click on command prompt-select run as administrator-In the command prompt I typed net user administrator/active:yes-then pressed enter." I went to windows update and took kb2859537 out of hiding. Then I downloaded it and ran it. The computer said to restart so I did. After restarting which it said 100% I checked with windows updates installed programs and it said success. When I did the same thing with kb2807986 it said installed but when I restarted the computer it never said 100% and checking with installed updates it said failed. Yes I scanned the system with Malware. The app is blue with like a notch missing on top and a white piece in the middle with the gold and blue shield on the lower right of the app. I think that is a microsoft symbol. Is that what you are asking for?

What program is that? We usually recommend Malwarebytes.

I said NOT to install kb2859537. If you get a BSOD later, then uninstall it.
