Scanner question
I am running Microsoft Security Essentials which I believe includes a an antivirus scanner.
Can I or should I also download the scanner found on the following webpage?
http://www.microsoft.com/security/sc...s/default.aspx
Will this cause a problem?
Open your mind, not your computer.

It does. I use the term loosely, since I would not consider them heavy duty.

You can but not much use if already using M.S.E.

It should not, since they're both Microsoft.
Cheers.

It doesn't make sense to download another MS AV scanner. It would use the same virus definitions, so you wouldn't get any additional benefit.
