[RESOLVED] Security Warning - IE 8 & www.Google.ca
I use Win XP SP3 on my desktop, and Internet Explorer as my web-brower which I had set the default home page to www.google.ca. I use AVG as my anti-virus.
Every time I do a search using Google.ca, there is a pop-up Security Warning, saying "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?" The possible responses are "Yes" and "No". Preceding the warning message is a Pad-Lock icon. And this Pad-Lock icon also appears on the top line of the I/E browser. This leads me to think the behavior of using Google.ca is somehow related to this I/E Brower setting.
This warning message is a bit of nuisance to me because my search results should show me which site is safe or unsafe (green ticks)... Also, even if I go to some of the very secure sites, my I/E may at times have to reload the site and then it tells me that I/E cannot recover to that site.
Can anyone explain to me what is going on with my I/E Google searches, and how to disable this security warning.
Appreciate your help.
