    Is Adobe Flash 3D safe to install or is it a gimmick?

    I haven't seen anything about this "update" except for Adobe webpages. I have no idea if it's legit, if it works or what-have-you. Any opinions/experiences people care to share?

    Yep, that's one of the websites I saw. So much corporate bragging and blather. My question was, and remains, is it safe? - necessary? - or not worth it?

    GPU-based 3D rendering should be faster and smoother.
