    cannot find 'vids:mjpg' decompressor

    I need 'vids:mjpg' decompressor for Win 7. Where can I download it so I can play video files?

    Under what circumstances are you getting the info that you need that codec? What type of file and what player are you using? Have you tried VLC/Videolan player?.. it usually has all the codecs you'd need built in to it.

    If it's a video file from a phone then you may need to install some proprietary software. Is it from a phone?

    You didn't say if you have 32 or 64 bit Win7.

    I installed .videolan.org/vlc/ and no change. Still looking for decompression file. I have Win 7 prof 32 bit.
