[RESOLVED] 32 GB USB

Hello all, just purchased a 32GB usb to store music, data on, when I come to use it, it asks to Format it, i choose quick format, then click ok.
Comes up with "Disk write Protected."
Can this be sorted, if so how??

Look on it for a little slider and move it to the opposite end. For example:

The make/model of the flash drive might help. Most flash drives come pre-formatted with FAT32, so it's odd that you had to format it again.

Hello Midknyte and all, no slider etc at all, no model name etc, just says 32GB.
I am using windows vista.

works on usb 1 as well.
