    Compaq Presario V2000 wont come on

    I have my brothers Compaq Presario V2000 that wont power up. I tried a new power cord and battery and still no power. Any suggestion where to go now in trying to fix it if anything?

    Ended up having to replace the motherboard in a V3000 with the similar symptoms a couple years ago. Ran about $30 on eBay.
