    I just was able to reformat this thing.. found the installation files, and is working.. Strange it took several attempts to do so.. Thanks for all the input on this thing.. hopefully it will last awhile .... =^)

    Once you get everything working as needed, that might be a good time to make a system image backup in case of future need.
