    Dell Inspiron 1501 wireless trouble

Working on a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop, and cant seem to be able to turn on the wireless. I hit the fn+f2 key and no light on connection comes on. Looked in the device manager and the network devices seem to be ok. There is one pci device that the laptop wants to install but fails. Looking for a possible answer to resolve this issue. Thanks

About a year ago I had to replace the WiFi card in the guy next door Dell Inspiron 1501. I would have searched for something like this on eBay: Dell Inspiron 1501 YH774.

While we were waiting for this "$3.99 with free shipping" part to come in, (took two durn weeks), I lent him one of my nano WiFi USB adapters.

Post the make and model of the router you are using. Have you set your wireless card to the same security setttings and passkey as you are using on the router?
