    win 8 fav

Hi, In win 8 do you know how to add favorites to I/E 10. I had XP before that was easy.

Bottom right - look for the push pin (Pin Site) and click on it....then click the add to favorites....Don't ask me how to find it later

To bring up the box, right click anywhere on the page. Click on the push pin icon:

    Add to Favorites.
Then, click on the URL bar directly:

From left to right the pinned sites will display (i.e. those you have pinned to Start), then frequently visited, then Favorites. Scroll right to see the entire menu as for any other Windows 8 App.

Then to go one step further, pin your favorites to Start and go there in one click. A section of my Start screen:

If you have Windows 8, you should be able to pin a URL to your Start screen as I have.

If you right click on the upper toolbar select Menu Bar it will bring up Favorites just like it was with the older versions

Press the "NUM LOCK" key to make the numbers on the right to work.

on my keyboard I have a key which reads 'ins' at the top and 'num lk' at the bottom, (on the same key) (just to the right of F12) the one to the right of F12 says 'prt sc + sysrq (which I do not know what means anyway) the next on to the right says 'pause' + 'break' (again I do not know what that ones for either) then its that 'ins + num lk' key. I pressed that one once nothing happened and if you press it again still nothing, no lights come on the keyboard or anything
    I have a 'advent Monza T200'

Besides looking in the manual - try the Shift + Num Lock key.

The Quick Site Access panel appears in Internet Explorer in the Windows UI when you set center to the address bar.The Favorites and History centers of Internet Explorer for the desktop appear from the View favorites, feeds, and history star button (Alt+C).
