Making Netgear brand router secure
Hi,
I installed a Netgear brand router on a computer and I either missed the part where it said how to make the network secure or not to. I would like to make the network secure. Where would I find that setting? I am using Windows 8. If you need more info let me know.
Thanks

Sorry I took so long to get back. It is a friends router so we were playing phone tag. The model number is
N300WNR2000v3. Wireless option will be used.
I was under the impression that when I went through the installation process it gave me a choice if I wanted to make it secure but I guess I was wrong.

You can download the N300 Wireless Router WNR2000v3 Setup Manual via the following link,

Refer to pages 22 - 25 of the manual for wireless security settings.
Cheers.
