    CDR/W problem. "not ready?"

    So I hooked up the 850MB Drive to the machine, and now the 2 CD Rom's are in "explorer's" list but are "not ready" when I click on them.

    I need all these things to work at the same time, what should I check?

    This is part of a continuing story. You should keep these topics all in the same thread. Just looking at this one alone might bring up answers already explored earlier. Also info already given out by you and others is not seen here unless the other threads are noticed and read.
