Burn home movies onto DVD

I want to save all my video files that I have taken with my video digi cam onto DVD to be able to be viewed on DVD player hooked up to my TV. What software do I need to be able to do this? All the video files are mpg. Thanks for any info.

here are some tutorials on how to convert MPG to DVD..

The first two look easiest and use freeware.
