Vicious circle, need internet to get drivers! need help

I just reformatted my friend's HDD and re-installed XP.
The PC can't connect to the internet and when I look at Device Manager, it tells me the Ethernet card is not installed.
So I'm pretty sure I need to install the Mobo drivers.
I lookup MSI MS-7399 on another PC and I cannot locate drivers, just a setup program, that connects to the internet to download the drivers. (It won't work from my good machine and I can't conect to the Internet from the newly configured machine)

    Any suggestions?

I did try uninstalling the Ethernet devices from Devise Manager and rebooting the router. Both unsuccessful.

Is that motherboard an actual MSI or did it come out of a Gateway or other OEM system? I don't see that model listed at the MSI website.

    Ditto.
    Search the system manufacturers' website.
    e.g. Gateway, acer...
    Cheers.

It was a Barebones system I built for him several years ago, so no OEM.
I did do a google search initially, but after hitting 2 sites that had you download software and install it only to be hit up for a "fee to get the latest drivers", I became suspect of any site that did not have MSI in the address.

I was surprised that I couldn't find it on the MSI site either. But hey, if it was that easy, I wouldn't have posted!

dneilson, the first hit in your search results was a winner! THANKS! worked like a charm.
