If all required drivers were not installed after your stated format... stated at your other thread, error may be displayed.
    Cheers.

ERROR MSG AFTER UNFORCED SHUTDOWN AND REBOOT

All drivers were installed after the format b/c I used the 2 ACER-supplied CDs for the format, as I previously mentioned, so no help there.

I suspect an infection due to slowness and quirky "freezes." I'm currently running malwarebytes, but shouldn't I run it from a flash drive rather than the downloaded file to my desktop? Also, the other three steps in Broni's required tests before submitting further...which is the best way to go with this? I realize that it could be the battery--original since the purchase 2+ years ago, or a bad format about 6 weeks ago, but things had been running well until the webcam glitch mentioned in another post...I've (temporarily) given up on that, as I downloaded the correct Chicony drivers from ACER's website, but the cam still will not operate...but that's another issue.

Appreciate any help I can get with this...thanks : )

Best to follow Broni's instructions first.

OK thanks, and I'll post the results in the Preventative Medicine forum unless you say to put it here...

    You're welcome.

Recommend posting the results wherever Broni asks, or expects you to post them.

Well, the ICU forum is closed to posts so I think the Preventative Med forum is the way to go, and I've posted there before, so here goes...thanks again.
