    Angry [Home]Device Monitor has encountered a problem

    Help!!!!!!!!!!
    At startup, my computer opens a window:

    The Device Monitor has encountered a problem and must close.

    My computer is operating just fine, but I don't know what this message is about.

    In the error message, is there any mention of an "App Name:"?

    Have a look in Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs for Device Monitor, if you find it there just uninstall it, you don't need it.

    I'm getting the 'Device Monitor' error at start up also. I also recently replaced my Dell printer with a canon. The Dell software will not delete because it is supposedly still in use. The missing Dell could be the device being referenced here.

    Revo uninstaller, free version at the bottom may do the trick.
