No, not if you've already booted without any anti-virus software installed and still see the same problem . . . which of course means the problem must not lie with the anti-virus software.

Do you see the same blank-screen problem if you boot from a *nix Live CD, (like Knoppix)? If so, the problem is not Windows.

Have you tried resetting the BIOS back to factory defaults?
