Does the same problem occur if you temporarily connect your computer to a different internet connection? If so, the problem is with your computer. If not, then it's your internet connection.

There are a multitude of possibilities. There may have been a problem with your equipment, your ISP's, any of the routers between your ISP and the speedtest server, or with the speedtest server itself.

Are you on DSL, Cable, or other?

Is your computer, the one you're having a problem with, connected to the internet via wire or wirelessly?

Are there any other devices using your internet account?
