Display issue with I.E. 8 and Facebook

I'm having some display issues with I.E. 8 on a Windows XP SP3 and Facebook as you can see here:

This only happens on I.E. 8, my FireFox and Chrome works great, but why is I.E. doing this?

See the "Done, but with errors on page" in the status bar? (Bottom left). Click on the yellow icon to see what the errors are. Hopefully that will give you some clues.

You also might try flushing the internet cache and then reloading the page.

That was done last night, and that didn't work. I also lower the security settings, and removed my AdBlocker software... Still nothing. I will try to click on the error icon tonight and tell you what it says. Right now, i'm at work on my laptop.

If the same problem *-does not-* exist after booting in Safe mode with networking, then we know that the problem is not Internet Explorer or Windows itself because it's working okay now.

If the same problem *-does-* exist though, then it must be something else that your computer is loading.

Update:

Neither one of those on http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/i...3-f018a18993a0 helped...

But I tinker around with what was on I.E. Add-On's and enable the Google (ChromeFrame BHO) and now it's working. I do have one other issue and that is everytime I visit the Facebook page a block appears asking me to open or save the facebook.com website.

When I click in a link for download any file, the system asks "Do you want to open or save this file". How do I disable this prompt. I want to just save the file in desktop without the end user being prompted.

My issue has to do with Facebook website only. Everytime I visit Facebook.com this always comes up.



I know that the file is HTML but why just facebook and not any other site?
