    Slow SSD

I bought two of these a few years ago:

Western Digital SiliconEdge Blue SSC-D0064SC-2100 2.5" 64GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - OEM
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820250001

Recently, they have been very slow. Let me define slow. When copying 2gb or erasing empty space to the SSD, it takes forever. When copying from the SSD, everything seems normal. I noticed that after reimaging, it does help for a while.

I have been trying to look for a firmware for them, hoping that will fix the problem.

I am using Windows 7 and do have TRIM activated.

    So, I have two questions:
-First, are these Generation 2 because I believe that these were the first drive that WD built in self TRIM.
-Second, obviously, how can I solve this issue? Hahaha!

    Thanks

    When copying 2gb
Where are you coping from or to? If to say a flash drive - it'll only copy as fast as the slowest drive.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Let's just check that TRIM really is enabled. Go to the Command Prompt, and type "fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify" without the quotes. It should come back with a value of zero.

It is from the same median, even DVD to SSD.

Mr. Nick! How are you? It did return 0.

I read some where that a firmware should be updated.
