    Reg Hack for VLC media player

    Is there a reg hack to set VLC media player to not show subs?

    Hope so..

    It depends on the file. If there are hard subs encoded into the file, then there's nothing VLC can do.

    Otherwise, go into Advanced Options - Subtitles/OSD and uncheck Autodetect subtitle files

    If the video file name and .srt name don't match, then the subs won't show either.
