As the above says I'm upgrading my AMD 3800+ socket 939 to a Opteron 180. I dont intend to overclock it will I need a new CPU fan on it or will the standard one I'm using for the 3800+ work ok?

My experience of the supplied HSF units is that they are all pretty crap By all means try it, but I would advise that you monitor your temps for a bit and see how satisfactory they are.
My water cooling unit failed on my Core i7 rig, so I temporarily used the supplied HSF until I could get another decent cooler. Even on the standard clock it couldn't keep the temps within acceptable limits with the CPU working hard. My replacement Arctic Freezer13 runs more than 40C cooler, even with a moderate overclock.
Installed the new CPU and it passed OCCT. I'll include image of that. However the ASUS probe for temperature and voltage doesn't like its vcore voltage readings. they fluctuate between 1.3-1.4? So it squawks at me.
According to the above page the vcore voltage range should be:
V core 1.3V / 1.35V so it seems to run in that range but there is no way to change the ASUS probe's settings for vcore except for the percentage threshold and its looking for a voltage range of 1.75-1.45.

I've never used it myself, but I know other members have had a lot of bother with Asus Probe.
It is normal for the Vcore to fluctuate downwards where AMD "Cool&Quiet" or Intel "SpeedStep" is enabled. Basically those two technologies underclock the CPU, and reduce Vcore at the same time where the processor is lightly loaded, which saves electricity and reduces temps.
