    Hi buf,
    Although slower than Acronis,
I now use the retail version of EASEUS Todo Backup version 3.5 with a flash drive as emergency recovery boot disc.

Not impressed with the GUI of the current version 4.0 of EASEUS though...
    Cheers.

I looked at the 4.0 version and was not impressed either. A part of my further study of this software included what others were saying about the freebie app and a number of them were dissatified with it. I think some were thinking it was a come on to cause one to buy the app. I could never find the "validation" in the free version. Guess they call it something else !! I take your post to mean that you 'sorta' like it but is a good alternative to Acronis.

You'll probably run across that problem with all apps.

If everyone agreed that there was only one perfect backup app, there would be no others.

    Some like this, some don't.
    Some like that, some don't.
Some like 'em both, others neither.

EaseUS Offer: Keep your PC at Top State, buy one and get two for free?

Shinma, I received the above offer from EaseUS via a newsletter on 3-11-12. Too bad this wasn't offered before you bought the version you now have. Maybe you can still get it???

    I guess it expired.
I end up with a blank cart with your link.
    Cheers.
