Windows Live Mail doesn't show email body
Using Windows Live Mail (the native client on my Win 7 machine) to access my live.com account. Most email are fine. But some recent emails (ironically with MS technical support) do not show anything in the body of the email - completely blank, whether in preview mode or even opened in a separate window!
- The email is mostly text with some occasional links.
- Email body shows up fine if I Reply or Forward the email.
- Email body shows up fine if I go to the web based live.com email
- Email body shows up in the email client on my phone.
- All other email I've received shows up fine.
Can't figure out what's going on! I tried adding the address to the Safe Sender list but still nothing. Looks like the email address is really weird. Something like:
GAMES.GAMW.NA.00.EN.STR.MUM.TS.1FL.PXG.XX.WB (at) css.one.microsoft.com
I'm wondering if the weird incoming address has something to do with it but why does it only affect the local Live Mail program? And strange that this is coming from Microsoft!

Haha - Microsoft actually called me to see if they can resolve the issue I was having in FSX (for which they had sent the support emails). While on the phone (and sharing my desktop) I showed the support person his very emails that weren't showing up. He had no idea why!

It is Windows Live Mail. From the issues I have seen with it, it is one of the worst e-mail client programs available.

My experience seems to agree with your statement! Looks like they were trying to improve on Outlook Express and just messed it up.
