    Resolved [RESOLVED] Static Operating System ?

    Hi Folks,
    A few years aback I noted that microsoft supplied some freeware software that worked similar to the faronics deep freeze product that would
    keep an operating system static during its usage.

    For the life of me I don't remember the name or whether it still exists?

    Wonder if any of the folks on the boards could enlighten me???

    It was Windows Steady State. Microsoft got rid of it, but there are alternatives:
