BlueTooth
I am not sure how to do this but going to ask anyway.
I got voice messages on my old Samsung T639. I have asked around and there is no such cable that I could use to get the voice messages. Therefore, could I use a bluetooth that connects to the desktop to get the messages? I have never used bluetooth on desktop before. In other words, while I am asking this question, what is bluetooth on a desktop used for?
Thanks

Samsung T639 = cell phone.
I would think the voice mail messages are stored on a server and not your local phone. In theory - it the phone account is active you might be able to get it from the providers web site.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

I often use it to play music stored on my BlackBerry over on my Desktop(s) speakers. Sounds great.

I use Bluetooth on my notebook and workstation to connect to my cell phone and synchronize Outlook and transfer Office files.

I've got one of those sync cables for my Samsung mobile, and it works just fine. It's worth checking that it doesn't use a standard micro-USB port, some models do. If not, Amazon sell the proprietary cables too:

Steve: I checked the website and did not find anything.
Spyware Dr: If you can hear music, then that is a start because I can record it.
ua549: thank you
Nick: I got one of those cables already. It works only for messages.
I am trying to save some of the messages that my mom left for me.

In your cell phone configuration there should be a phone number listed in the voice mail configuration. You can call that number from anywhere to access your account. Call it from your computer and record the voice mail playback. Many carriers delete all voice mail a certain number of days after it is first listened to. If your account is no longer active, your voice mail was most likely deleted when you closed your account.

This is the part that I have been missing and I thought that if I use the bluetooth, I could record it. Can you list instruction on how to call from the computer and record?
Oh yeah, one more thing. the phone does not have an output and that is why I was referring to bluetooth. there is no cable for voice message because I asked all around already.
Thank you ua549

I think something like this would be the easiest way of recording a voicemail message - simple, yet effective

My BlackBerry, and the Windows software that came with it were both designed to allow me to do what I do.
Was yours? If so, the "how to" should be in the manual.
