cant not get this light to work help

today i did check all the budget mother board and there is about 75%of them do not have a build video card .
so i did see it [no video ] in but i figure that it was only to play game .
all i did is look at the board and when i saw that it had the blue 15 pin connection for my monitor i did order it .
but guess what it was not a 15 pin .it is a 9 pin male [com1]
what is this any way .it no good to me .
so by the time i pay the board and the video card i be up to 160.00 .tax and shipping just because the board did not had one

got it working now with the molex .i cut the molex in haft .only keep red and black took out the yellow and the black .
all i did is use the red and the black wire from a 4 pin molex .
i did connect the red wire to the power led +.
and the black wire to the - wire .
that was it .
so it was not the led light bolb that did not work .
now it as to be some thing with the mother board .
the only thing the led is not green like the rest of the case .
it is a yellow greeniss like color .lol .
ha well it working .
