32 Gigs isn't large enough for any new operating systems. By the time you install the OS, antivirus, MS office or equivalent and a few more programs you'll barely have enough room for a pagefile or storage of any media (pics and movies etc)
I wouldn't go any smaller than 80 Gigs for the primary drive/partition and then still store media on a different drive. If you're going to partition the drive for two operating systems then 80 would still be on the small side.

thank .but i am not using window 7 at all .
only vista .
so i be better with the 750 wd 6 gb .
now never do movie .no gaming .nothing of that stuff .
google is mainly what i do .email .
now it is kn to use only a 250 hard with no problem and with a 32 gb you are saying that it is not enuff .
so with a 3 gb is ok then .
now all i have is a 750 ddr2 and my computer is really .really fast .
only the basic stuff .

Yves, I think you may be mixing up some of the specs of your drives.
the 250 and 750 refers to the drive size.. 250 Gigs and 750 Gigs.. much larger than the SSD 32 Gigs.
the 3 Gb/s is referring to transfer rate.. how quickly the data can be retrieved from the drive.
DDR2 refers to memory/RAM speed and is not related to the hard drives at all.

I don't think you would see a great deal of benefit from an SSD in any case. They make sense on a super-fast rig, to boost things even more. On a more average PC, such as you are building, and for what you want to use it for, you really won't get much benefit beyond faster boot times. Personally, I'd wait the extra few seconds for it to boot, save the money, and get a much bigger drive by going for the 750GB one.

ok .now i got it .
i will stick with my wd 750 black 6.gbs.
no you see i was reading about it and they all say that it was fast .
this is why i ask you .
now to really have fast drive you have get a 10000 or 15000 rpm
but look at the money they want for these thing .
i have to deceide because all i need is 3 more parts for that new build again .
that be my secound new build this month

The same thing applies to what I said about SSDs above, a high rotational speed drive is only really of benefit on a very fast rig. Apart from the cost, they use a lot more electricity and run very hot too.
