    broken front panel usb port

This is the computer case :

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147081

One of the front usb port is broken - the black thingy which sticks with the connector has come off. What are my options ? Where do I buy such front panels ?

Usually those items are bought from the case manufacturer.

I thought rosewill sold its products only through newegg, did not know it has its own site.

I found the website through newegg. Went to the link you provided for the case, clicked on the "details" tab, and on the right side of the page it says "Manufacturer Product Page." I clicked on that and it took me to rosewill's website.

Be careful. We've had two computers die when those USB contacts short out against each other. One zapped the power supply, and the other one took out the power supply and motherboard.

It would be a whole easier to do one of the following:

    1) Use the ports in the back
    2) Get a USB hub for the front
    3) Get an extender cord and plug in the back and use towards the front
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

If you're selling it then it would likely not be worth fixing considering the price of used computers now.

I'd put a piece of black (or appropriately colored) PVC tape neatly over the port and just tell the the buyer it doesn't work.

yes, just leave it like that. I have a buyer coming this weekend. Mainboards are cheap but components price is sky high.
