Resolved [RESOLVED] About the power supply cable

I've just built a new with an Asus P8P67 motherboard and a Corsair 650W power supply. I then realized that I could not plug the PWR fan its 3 pins connector on the mobo. I wonder how to do that. On my old Asus P5N-E mobo, there wasn't such a connector. Do I have to use a cable that was included in the package content of the Corsair PWR (and that I don't have any more)? Do I have to buy a special cable?

    Thanks

    Andre

The mobo header is only there to enable the BIOS to monitor the power supply fan speed. If the PSU doesn't have the monitoring cable with the 3-pin plug attached (and the vast majority of them don't these days), then don't worry about it. It isn't necessary to monitor that fan anyway - I've had a few PSUs die on me, but never the PSU fan.
