Can't View Outlook 2007 Word Email Attachments
All of the sudden I can't view Microsoft Word Email attachments that I get using Outlook 2007. I used to be able to view these attachments. When I click onto the attachment it opens up but there is nothing in the body of it. It's just blank. Excel , Publisher, and .PDF attachments all open up ok.

What happens when you right-click on one of the problem attachments and select Save As, and then save it to your hard drive? Can you then double click on the saved attachment and see the document? What size is the saved document? Are the problem documents all from the same e-mail source?

Do you have webmail access to one of the e-mail accounts that you are having this issue with? If so, what happens when you access teh e-mail account through a web browser? Can you see the attachments? Can you save one of them to your hard drive, and what happens when you do? Can you access the contents, or do you get the same problem?
What happens if you send yourself an e-mail with a Word document attachment that you know opens from your hard drive? Does the received e-mail that you send yourself have the same problem with the attachment?

Just found out this problem is not isolated to just Word 2007 email attachments. Any word document that I try to open even in the My Documents folder opens up to a blank blue page with nothing in the body.

Now we are getting somewhere. We have eliminated e-mail as the source of the issue.
What happens if you start word (Start, Programs, Microsoft Office, Word), type some text into a new blank document, and save that document to My Documents, then close Word, and double click on the newly created document? Same issue? If so, then it may be time to try to repair Word.
