    cpu working hard

    I have noticed lately the the cpu is running at over 50 per cent. I have
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+
    4 Gigs of ram.. Is the software or maybe someone can help decide what proccesses I can remove. Put a new Geforce GT 430 video card .

    Or you can run Process Explorer (procexp.exe) from the Sysinternals Suite, wjhich will give you even more info:

    the thing is

    I am trying to run the new game Duke Nukem Forever..Went to the Can you run it site and passed with flying colors but duke chokes alot..I know that steam is a hog and using lots of rescorses

    Overheating, video card, cpu, as that will jamb things up.
