[RESOLVED] Windows 7, 32 and 64 Bit.
Is it OK to partition a 1TB hard drive and run 64 Bit in one partition and 32 Bit in the other?

Yes, but why?
The 64-bit version will run your 32-bit software.

There are some older Cad programs will not run on 64 Bit.

You might try using 64-bit Windows 7 Professional (or higher), installing Windows XP mode (which is 32-bit), then install your CAD programs in XP. You should now be able to run your CAD programs by clicking the links to them in Windows 7 (Start > All Programs ...). If it works, the beauty would be not having to reboot.
