HDMI not whole screen
I have a Gigabyte MB with onbaord graphics and a 24" moniter.
If i connect them by HDMI cable the moniter does not have a whole screen.
About 1 inch or so is black aroung the screen.
Why?
Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H AM3 motherboard
16 GIG Ram,
AMD FX 8350, 8 core
2 x 1gig sata 3 ,,
1 X 24" wide screen moniter ,
2 x 17' secondary moniters
1 x 21" secondary moniter
Corsair Power
Corsair Hydro cooler H 60
1 x blueray burners
Windows 8.1 x 64 Professional
Professional DOS dummy.

Do you know what sort of onboard graphics the PC has? Apparently this is a common problem with ATI Catalyst drivers.

This is the moterboard Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H AM3
AMD so it will be ATI

I'm not familiar with Catalyst drivers, but apparently there should be a setting for DTV, and in that a setting for under/over scan. Try setting that to 0%.
