    Padlocks on my MP3 icons!

    Anyone seen this before? Little padlocks on some of my mp3 files. They aren't "read-only". Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for their being there.

    Found the answer in another forum:

    If you right click, and go to 'share with', the padlock means 'nobody'. just add the 'Homegroup' and the resfresh the folders and the padlocks disappear. et voila!
    Works like a charm.
