[RESOLVED] file hpzrp305.dll is missing
I am not sure I am in the right forum for this posting, but will start here, anyway.
Using XP and an HP printer.
Whenever I boot up, I get the error message that says file hpzrp305.dll is missing. It does not yet seem to interfere with my using my computer. Though I have not used the printer, because of an apparent color cartridge issue.
I went to several sites which want to sell me registry scanners. I went to one site which promised to allow me to download the missing file, but the site did not look trustworthy. Searched here, but apparently this issue has not been brought to your attention.
Point me in the right direction. I would appreciate it.

Sorry. Neglected to mention that I did reload in the driver for my hp printer, but the error message still appears.

Did you search for the file on your computer, and on the installation CD? Make sure to include hidden and system files in the search options.

Since it is not in use,
Delete HP printer driver and any corresponding software.
Cheers.

Guys:
That was easy. I removed the printer driver and problem went away. Just to be ornery, I went to the HP website, downloaded the driver, again, and I do not get the error message. Re-booted several times, and no error message.
Thanks for your help.

Normally the online drivers are updates of what comes on the cd.
