FIOS vs. Cable Internet Connection
I currently using Charter cable internet at about 20mbps at peak times. Even in the evening it's around 15mbps and I don't game. Where I live a can get Verizon FIOS and bundle it with Verizon my existing phone. I have DirecTv so I can't bundle the whole house.
The tech at my local PC store said he thought FIOS optical was much better and would go that route if it was available where he lives.
Is FIOS faster than cable or is it a matter personal opinion. I haven't called yet to get the bundle price with at least 20mbps until I get some good info from people who have FIOS optic.
Thanks for any opinions.
Mike

I can only get Charter cable here but they have to stay competitive. Hopefully their speeds will increase....I can get faster speeds w/ Charter but it costs more. Also, I was curious how reliable FIOS is as Charter seldom goes down.
