Can't Create System Repair Disc On New Computer
I have a brand new Dell laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium on it. I just got done creating a system image which took 4 dvd's to complete.
Now when I try to create the System Repair Disc I get a message that says "The files needed to create a system repair disc were not found on this computer." How can this be? What am I doing wrong?

It could be that Dell goofed and is waiting for your phone call so you can take advantage of the warranty.
I just did the same thing on a Dell lappy a couple weeks ago and it worked well.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Model in question may utilize proprietary recovery disc(s)

For system recovery instead.

It means that Dell have not included the necessary Windows files on the hard drive. You can download a Sys Repair Disc though:

I made the System Repair Disc from the www.neosmart.net website like you guys suggested. Hopefully that is all that will be needed in case a problem pops up down the road.

It is all that is needed. Or you can use any Windows 7 DVD, even from a different computer, or borrowed from somebody.
