Disabling IE 8 welcome pop-up at start up
I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 64-bit and I'm using IE 8. At start up I get a MS IE 8 welcome pop-up message to see all the new features and I have to close it out. I even went through some of their new features to see if it would stop popping up. It keeps popping up at start up...how can I disable this annoying pop-up at start up?
Also, is IE 9 still beta or do they have the bugs out? MS says it runs faster and leaner. Half the time I use Mozilla.
Thanks,
Mike

IE9 final version should be out later today or tomorrow. It is very nice indeed

I got to User Configuration but couldn't find Administrative Templates under that. I did a search for Administrative Templates and nothing came up. Hopefully when I install IE 9, I won't get that pop up all the time. Today at start up I didn't get the IE 8 pop up so it's only a minor problem that takes one quick click to close it.
I didn't want to dig any further into the registry.
Thanks,
Mike
