    Dragging icons to taskbar?

    I used to drag desktop icons to the unlocked task bar with Vista. I'm now using Windows 7 64-bit. When I drag an icon to the task bar, i.e., the Outlook icon, it says "pin to explorer?" and won't stay in the the task bar. Is there a way to drag quick launch icons to the task bar?

    mike2rc--Right click on the desktop icon for the program and click Pin to Taskbar. (Picture #1 in Train's reference) You can usually do that with most any shortcut or .exe file.
    I post this only because the reference seems to cover too much ground.
