What does 0.45 MP mean?
Pricing camcorders and came across one that captures still images at up to 0.45MP. Am not too savvy when it comes to this. What does 0.45MP mean? We are mainly buying it for the camcorder but if it will take decent still pics that would be nice. Thanks

That would be 0.45 megapixels.
800 x 600 would give 480,000 pixels, or in other words, 0.48MP. So that camcorder will give stills that are a little less than 800 x 600.
Nick.
