    Event Viewer

    I'm suddenly getting this in my event viewer. The driver\Driver\Usbstor failed to load for the device Usb\vid_0BC2&PID_3001\2GEVVJBN. This is what the viewer has. Windows 7 Pr0 64 bit

    I believe USBSTOR refers to mass storage devices. What do you have plugged into your USB ports? BTW, digital cameras are considered mass storage devices.

    Open the Device Manager (right click Computer and select Manage). Do you see any devices with a yellow triangle?

    If your computer is working fine, there is no reason to dig around event viewer.

    Thank you to everyone for your responses. I twas my free agent drive but it seems to be working OK now. Broni your right I do need to stay out of the event viewer, so I've just made it a New Years resolution to stay out.
