[RESOLVED] Which TV
Looking for a new 32inch flat screen tv I am confused by the choices between LCD, LED or Plasma.
Any recommendations?
Also are there any Samsungs with PVR facility?
Thanks

The LED only refers to the backlight, so an "LED TV", rather confusingly, is actually an LCD TV which uses LEDs for the backlight rather than fluorescent tubes. They use less electricity.
I'm not a fan of plasma myself, they are very power hungry. At one time they had a shorter life too, though I'm not sure if that's really true anymore. The best thing to do is to go to Currys or Comet and have a look at some. After you've decided what you like best you can then order online and save some money

Thanks Nick
Actually I have been in Curry's this morning and ordered a
Samsung UE32C6000 I was impressed by the picture quality and the physical looks.
Its an LED so I will save on electricity and help save the planet.
Thanks

I think you'll be very happy with a Samsung. Them and LG make fine displays
