    Crash Dump Driver

I get this all the time in my event viewer. The system could not successfully load the crash dump driver. I'm using Windows 7Pro 64 bit.

This probably applies to Win 7 as well:

It seems to be a problem where Windows is installed on a mirrored volume - is that the case with yours?

What is a mirrored volume? If means Raid, I have only one Hard drive.

    Yes, it does mean RAID.

We could do with a bit more information from the Event Viewer please. In particular the "source".

You could try resetting the pagefile, that seems to work for some people. Here's how:

Thank you for that advice. I reset the page file and it fixed the problem. I did 3 restarts and it didn't show up. Thanks again for your help. Is it still cold over there?

I'm glad you got it fixed

It has been much milder for the last 10 days - around 12C or so in the day. It looks like it's going to get a bit colder later in the week though.

I thought I'd ask cause I'd been reading about the rough winter you've been having over there. Thanks again for your great help.
