    microsoft outlook

I am having problems with my email.
I use a cookery forum on a regular basis and sometimes I see a subject being discussed which I am interested in. so I click the "Watch this topic" box to receive an email when anyone contributes to it.
About a month ago I stopped receiving any emails to topics.
I receive all other emails ok this problem is only on this forum.
I contacted the Admin and they could not find any problem and all the others on the forum are not having this problem.
I am using Windows 7 and Microsoft Outlook and would like to know if there is anything I can check in this email client to aleviate this problem.

Thanks for any advice on this.

Happens here all the time too
Many an ISP see the emails as SPAM.
Might look online at you email and see if there are any in the spam folder that you could makr as safe.

I have a spam folder but the emails are not there:
Is there anything else I can do?
Also I have tried other email programs: Gmail, Thunderbird etc and they are the same no emails from this particular forum.

    Thanks

Are looking in the spam folder in Outlook or on line? If you're looking in Outlook - that isn't good enough. The mail could be getting filtered before it gets to you.

Your ISP probably also has a "remove from blacklist" function where you can post email address to be removed from the list.

Verizon, Yahoo, Comcast and AOL are known to block the most mail like yours. Gamil and Hotmail generally work well.

Would my ISP be able to block mail received via gmail?
