Installed windows 7 64 bit over windows 7 32 bit but now want to remove the windows.old file. Keep getting the admin rights warning but there is only one user. Who can I delete this file, Tryed to run the windows explorer as admin but the says need the users permission to delete?

    kspeel--DiskCleanup should also delete it.

Or, if you try to take ownership and have problems, try deleting in Safe Mode.
