Outlook 07 'to' bringing up past spam names & links?

I’m running Windows Vista Premium and MS Office 2007. I use Outlook as my email client.

When I compose a new email and just click the 1st letter in the “to” box as a hot key it used to just bring up all my contacts with that letter and I’d pick the contact.

Now when I type a letter in the “to” box as hot key my contact/contacts will show as well as all kinds of past spam links and email names I deleted a long time ago.
I’ve installed a new Logitech keyboard and mouse and had some problem with it but I think I caused this by accidentally adding a rule or something else.

Any suggestions on why these name and links are coming up and how can fix it would be appreciated. If I can’t fix it, I can always uninstall Outlook and reinstall.

    Thanks,
    Mike

It sounds like you have Outlook set to automatically add received e-mail address to your contacts. The links below might be helpful:

When you look in your contacts - do they all show up there?

If not - food for thought -> You can search for the file called Outlook.NK2 and delete it...It will Delete ALL auto complete entries and allow you to start over.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

According to the link below, there is no built-in finction for this. However, add-ins and macro code can perform this function. Perhaps some spammer has helpfully added one of these items to your Outlook.

When I searched for NK2, it just found your email.

Would a restore back about a week undo this?
