I've had this program for years. Is it still effective, or has it gone the way of Spybot?

So far as I know, the answer is yes. I keep updating it and relying on it as additional protection.
foxy--As far as I know SpyWareBlaster has three functions. One is to add sites to your Restricted Sites. The second is per this reference http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Malware_Defence.htm A third function (blocking tracking cookies) is mentioned here http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
