Vixia camcorder
Has anyone owned a Canon Vixia HF M31 camcorder or something equivalent which has a build in internal memory, plus a slot for a SD external memory card?
I just got one yesterday.
My question: I read the instruction book. It says: the recording will go to the 32G internal memory, and if it is full, then the recording switches to the SD external memory card. Is there anyway one can send the recording directely to the SD memory card by bypassing the build in camcorder memory?
Thank you
Ngan

Rapidly snap enough ('junk') pictures to completely fill the onboard memory and then simply leave them there ... forever.

Um, page 38 and 39 of the pdf manual shows how you can set the default location for recording either photos or video.
So if you don't want to record to the built in memory, why not just set default to be the card ?

There is no such thing as overkill. 'Open fire' and 'is it dead?' are the only sane options when threatened.

GeneralWinters: I will look into page 38 and 39. I knew there must be a solution to the problem somewhere. Thank you!
